Energy Summit Topic: Fuel Use and Security in the Military
Defending the United States and our national interests uses vast quantities of energy. In addition, we must be responsible stewards of our environment. The Air Force understands that energy and environment are important to our business. The Air Force has developed a three-step energy strategy: reduce demand, increase supply and change our culture to make energy a consideration in all that we do. To accomplish our vision, the Air Force is working hand-in-hand on our energy strategy in partnership with other government agencies and the private sector.
